Ekoax: internet solutions over coaxial cable
Ekoax is a hardware solution that allows any Internet subscription (ADSL or Fiber) to be distributed through the coaxial cable of the TV system. This can occur whether or not the cable is inside a structure, whether it is an apartment, condominium, or hotel.
How coaxial cable internet connectivity works
Ekoax is a Plug & Play system that is simple and quick to install. Use the existing TV system to bring the Internet signal into the building within each room.
Theexisting TV system is thus used not only for the normal distribution of TV channels, but also as infrastructure to carry the Internet signal. Even with this, the TV transmission remains the same and does not suffer dispersion. This is because the hardware uses the free frequency of the return channel (5-65 MHz) to carry the Internet signal.
Ekoax consists of a “Master” central unit and one or more “Slave” routers depending on the size and complexity of the system. The Master(IPC-M2) is responsible for converting and mixing the Internet signal taken from the modem router, into the TV antenna cable. From any TV outlet located within the system, Internet (wireless or cable) and TV signals can then be picked up using a Slave Router(IPC-S2).
Advantages of the Ekoax solution
The speed of installation and the fact that no masonry work or third-party installers are required makes coaxial cable Internet distribution a solution with great advantages. Chief among these is surely the fact that it provides significant savings and the resulting increase in margins.
Ekoax hardware can thus be distinguished as:
- High-quality professional solution for Internet distribution;
- quality connection;
- product with easy and quick installation;

- extremely flexible and versatile product;
- Solution with remote management of the entire plant.
